The Wedding!

The kids begging for snacks from Aunt Shauna.

Flower girl.

Family pic. Katie had just been bawling her eyes out that she was sooo cold.

Loving their treats for good wedding behavior. Levi chose Teddy Grahams and Katie chose her own bottle of hand sanitizer.

Going to the Chapel

The combined effort to get Katie's hair curled.
 Pin curls!
Levi zonked out on the car ride over to the church.
 Katie and Nana.
The back view of Katie's hair and dress.
Mother of the groom and Kevin.
 Cutest ring-bearer ever.
I just got one quick shot of them coming down the aisle and then tried to get out of the way so that i wasn't in the professional pics. The girls were all adorable. Katie panicked half way down the aisle because she ran out of petals. Everyone was cracking up. Levi tried to first avoid all the petals, then smash them all.

Rehearsal and Dinner

Kevin and Lydia got married in this chapel that was like at the top of a mountain. You could see all the way to the ocean. I was wondering how I would keep the kids occupied and when we got there there was this awesome airplane teeter-totter. Grayson still ended up with poop in his mouth somehow...
 Busy, busy.
Lydia getting it done. She has the cutest sense of style.
Hanging out in the gazebo. Levi is busting a move.
 Made it through the rehearsal.
 Practicing walking down the aisle.
And the reason they walked down the aisle. Bugles and Nutter Butters.
 Rehearsal dinner kid entertainment.
 Connor.
The rehearsal was at a great BBQ place. The food was incredible and when it started to get too chilly we realized the floor was heated. The kids curled up and colored on the floor and made it a while longer. It was so great to see all the friends and family and hear what an impact Kevin and Lydia had on so many people.

California

We took at trip to California for Taylor's brother's wedding. It was a whirlwind of a trip, but we had such a great time. We made it out one morning to laguna beach. The trip was more for Mom and Dad than the kids. My mountain children are not fans of the waves.
Grayson and Daddy just before Daddy got distracted.
And just after Daddy looked back. Grayson didn't mind the waves or wet at all.

He is going to be walking before we know it. Hopefully not for a few more months though!

Pretty beach picture.Taylor would be shocked I took this picture, because as a general rule I hate scenery shots. I want to see people and I can always get a postcard:)
 Cute, sand-eating baby.
 Poking anemones.
We spent quite a bit of time in our hotel room while Daddy filled his groomsmen duties.
Coloring.
 Eating Mcdonalds.
And lots of ipad and kindle playing.
We did make it down to the pool 2 times. It was pretty cold, but the kids still swam like fish. Mommy finally gave up though after the 2nd diarhea accident (in the pool!) and we decided to play in the bathtub the rest of the afternoon.
The accidents were Levi not me, just for clarification!

First Haircut

I have trimmed Katie's hair before, but since she was going to be in wedding and the ends were a bit crunchy I decided to take her to a pro. She was super excited until we got there and then she was pretty nervous.

She did not love the wash.
Or the blow dryer that much.
Pretty girl with a new cut and style. A lot of her curl is gone with the baby locks.

November

Haha. So much for posting every day in October. Between a broken computer, trip to California, Dad in the hospital and Halloween the month flew by. As far as the list goes, I got a ton done or started on. It gave me some intentionality and purpose and we were able to do some things that would otherwise have gotten lost in the crazyness.

Things still to work on:
Mail Kevin and Lydia's wedding present. It got shipped late and then in the rush of getting myself and 3 kids out the door to not just go to the wedding, but be IN the wedding, I even forgot to bring the wedding card!
Make Lefse, a Thanksgiving tablecloth, fingerprint corn and handprint turkey.
Finish details for Gray's first birthday (in exactly one month!)
Finish details for Taylor's graduation party.
Lots of Christmas stuff, but I did get our cards printed and they are ready to be mailed!

I decided to shop once this month again. I planned all the meals and between a walmart trip and Costco run spent exactly $400 for the month. This includes absolutely everything we need for the month including Thanksgiving, Grayson's dedication brunch, toiletries and etc. I feel pretty proud of myself for that.

I think I am going to try blurb for my yearly photobook. It will upload my blog and pictures straight into a book. That way I am not doing everything twice. Hopefully I can find a great coupon when I order! I think I will try using shutterfly for the kids' books which has more creative options. I love mixbook, but they just aren't having the deals they used to have...

Because of that get ready for a slew of October posting so that I can upload it to blurb:)
