Solo-Parenting Adventures

I traveled to Virginia with Levi to visit family. It was my first time flying solo and went pretty well. Levi did great. The biggest challenge was holding him for that long by myself. My arms and shoulder are still recovering. I only had only horrible lady complain about a baby on the plane. Everyone else was great about it.
My cousin Allison took us to this great diner to eat. I had the most amazing sweet potato fries. They definitely don't make them like that here. Levi and his second-cousin Amy. We got really good at second-cousins and first-cousins once removed:) Uncle Mike is holding Amy and my cousins wife Kati has Levi.
Levi was so tired after the day at the airport that I propped his head up with my sweatshirt so he wouldn't slump over.

Me and my cousin Tyler. We had lots of time under the shade trees drinking iced tea.

Katie is in a big-girl bed and potty-trained! She just decided to be potty-trained one day. She loves her bed and is such a rule follower she hasn't gotten out of it yet!Taylor went camping with all the cousins and Papa in the backyard. Katie was the last asleep and the first awake. The older cousins were all scared of coyotes and thinking they heard "biting noises" Katie proceded to start growling and chomping her teeth to add to the atmosphere:)
Cooking s'mores in the backyard.
Taylor also took Katie swimming and to the zoo while I was gone. Needless to say she didn't miss Mommy much!

Catching up!

Sorry it has been so long! Here are some of the latest and greatest. Levi (I think) is teething. He is chewing and drooling on everything! He is back to sleeping through the night and a big boy. He is in the 80th percentile for height and 88th for weight. He is rolling over and I keep trying to make his sit up, which he does not appreciate:) I am looking forward to visting relatives in Virginia and will be taking Levi with me. Prayers for a good flight would be awesome since I am going without Taylor! He and Katie are going to have some Daddy daughter time and might even go camping. Katie loves turning the crank on the pasta roller. We were making ravioli. She chose her own outfit, of course:) She also decided to be potty-trained this week. We actually made it through the whole day today on one pair of panties!
We went to North Cheyenne Canyon after a trip to the zoo for a picnic lunch by the creek. Katie loved it and we had to watch her to make sure she didn't get in too deep. Levi just hung-out in his seat .

Grandma got us some popsicle makers and we have had all sorts of yummy treats. Katie could live on popsicles alone I think.

I am going to try and post some video later . . . Katie is perfecting the forward roll!
