Katie's first time sledding!

My mom got Katie a new sled and she LOVED it. She kept saying, "Again!" She loves the snow and going fast. She will be a better skier than Mommy by the time she is 5 years old:)

Parade of Lights

We went with our good friend to the Parade of Lights which is a local Christmas parade. There are lots of lights, music and animals which Katie loved! We were so bundled up because it was freezing outside. She actually made it through the whole parade which shocked us!Katie and Toby "hanging out" at the parade! She looks like the kid from A Christmas Story!
Not the most exciting parade video you will ever see, but Katie does actually wave at one point:)

Baby Shower - 8 months prego

My mom threw me a baby shower last weekend and it was so much fun! We had a cowboy theme and celebrated Levi at my Mom's house. I was able to hang-out with lots of friends and family and got some adorable gifts. . .Thanks everyone! All the pics are on my mom's camera so I will try to get some posted of her adorable decorations.
Here is the 8 month picture. Definitely getting bigger and ready to meet this little guy!

10 weeks to go and Halloween!

7 months pregnant and entering the home stretch! We are so excited to soon welcome baby Levi to our family. I am very ready to not be pregnant. My back has started hurting and I am just pretty uncomfortable and tired. A friend lent me a snoogle pillow which is a huge body pillow and I have been thanking God for her every night:) What a huge difference! We'll keep you posted as things progess. Right now I am staying very busy getting ready for a craft show. (Nov. 7th Pine Creek High School) And running around after a very busy 19 month old. Hopefully we can get some video of her on here soon. She is addicted to the Wiggles and talks non-stop. Daddy taking Katie around the neighborhood. Once she realized she would get candy she would walk up to the door and say "pick one?" I tried to get her to pick the kind I like!
The whole family.

Back of the ladybug costume. Yes, Mommy made it and is very proud of it:)

The front. The sucker was the only way we could get her in the tutu. We carried around a towel to wipe off the goo!

New England Vacation

Ice cream at the pier. She hardly ate any of it so Mommy "helped." This was the first night of the double ear infection, croup fiasco which explains the lack of ice cream eating. Grandma brought this dress and a shell to take Cape Cod pictures. We coerced her into playing with the shell by putting m&m's inside it!

The whole fam at the beach. Katie loved finding shells, playing with her bucket and the waves.
Kayaking like her Daddy.

Her first time in the ocean. She LOVED it. We were just as excited to see her in the water as she was to be in it. not time for doing her hair that morning we went straight out to the beach.

So our trip to Cape Cod was a lot of fun. Katie was great on her first plane ride thanks in large part to dum-dum suckers. She slept almost the entire second flight. The hardest part for her was the drive from the airport to the Cape. It had been a really long day. We arrived after 8PM eastern time and got to meet the owners of the house we did the home exchange with. What a blessing how that worked out. They had a beautiful home and were very welcoming. We spent the first few days playing on the beach, going to the pond, getting PJ's clam chowder (my favorite!), and relaxing. Half way through the trip Katie got a double ear-infection and croup. We spent the next 5 nights holding a crying baby (picture Katie screaming NO at the top of her lungs), trying to sleep with her kicking us in bed, and even made a trip to the Orleans medical center. They put her on antibiotics and she slightly improved. We then packed up and headed to Moosehead lake in Maine. What a beautiful place! After another night of no sleep we went to the Greenville doctor and they told us to give Katie a cold medicine. Hallelujah! We finally slept as she cleared up. We were in Greenville for the International sea-plane fly-in which was so cool! We also ate fudge and ice-cream and got to spend some great time with my grandparents. The plane ride home started out with a screaming toddler. I could see the frightened looks of the passengers around us. Within 2 minutes she passed out and didn't wake up until Dallas . . . Thank you Lord!!! She repeated that performance on the next flight and then we finally arrived home after a 3 hour delayed flight at midnight Colorado time. Talk about a long day! Katie wouldn't fall asleep so we decided not to fight it and spent another night with the three of us squished in bed. We were so thankful to be home we didn't even care! She has finally mostly gotten back on schedule. Though we have some great memories, funny stories and super pictures . . . we are hoping that for our next vacation we can leave Katie at home:)

One tired little girl

So I promise at some point soon I will post our vacation pictures. We are still recovering. Katie was sick for a large majority of the trip and is still not back on schedule or really healthy. We actually did have a great time!

Sitting with Mommy before we head to church. What picture is complete without that cheesy grin!

She was so tired after a long day with only a fifteen minute nap that she passed out in the car and didn't move even for jammies!

A few more of the most recent pics.

A self-styled outfit. Dusters, purse between the legs, and diaper cover over her leggings. This is her "dusting the dog outfit." Popsicles in the backyard.

Sliding in the dress Mommy made her.

Another self-styled outfit. These pink boots make a daily appearance unless I hide them.

I know . . .it's been months!

So, not surprisingly pregnancy takes it out of me for the entire first 18 weeks! But I have managed to take some pictures and videos for your viewing pleasure.

We just found out this week we are having a baby boy! I am so excited. Let the shopping begin! I have visions of being a hockey mom and cute little polo shirts.

Katie is 16 months old and a real handful. She talks non-stop and loves to scream "Mommy" all the time. She also likes singing, music, books, Oakley (oatley) and having Daddy throw her in the air. She fills our days with laughter and we collapse exhausted at the end of the day. Just this week I thought she was following me into the bedroom and when I looked back she was riding Oakley stark naked and having a blast. My days are filled with funny stories like this!

Playing in the river with Daddy when we went camping.

And Mommy.

Reading her books.

At our neighborhood pool. This child is a fish! She will be blue and shaking and still scream when we take her out of the pool.

The whole family in Pagosa Springs. We had a family reunion with Taylor's side of the family.
All 10 grandchildren! We are the proud parents of girl #5 and boy #5!

She loves these dog bowls. We can't keep her out of them!

Baby # 2

As most of you know baby Andrews # 2 is on the way. We had an ultra-sound today and found out that we are 5 weeks 3 days pregnant. Which means morning sickness may be just around the corner. I am trying to stay positive, while dreading it with all my heart. We are due January 8th. If we are two weeks early like last time that places us on Christmas Day. We are so excited to be welcoming this new baby and are already going through names and I am planning another room! We will keep you posted as we continue on this journey.

Happy First Birthday Katie!

I can't believe a year has already gone by. We celebrated Katie's birthday with many friends and family. She had a great time though all the people overwhelmed her at first. As you will see, she LOVES cake!

I made a banner for Katie on my new Cricut. "happy birthday katie!" Grandpa getting the birthday "throne" ready.

Katie couldn't wait to start opening presents. She was very interested in all the paper.

More Birthday decorations. I made the tissue paper balls using an idea from Martha Stewart.

At first she took dainty little bites. We soon morphed to full on face stuffing.

Opening presents with Mommy and Daddy.

An entire cake to herself and she didn't wan't to have any leftovers!

More face stuffing.

At first she just took a tiny taste . . . hahaha.

Looking very satisfied with herself.

We love being a family of three!

I was tickling her to try to get her to smile.

The cake!

Talking and stairs.

Katie loves babbling and crawling up the stairs. She hasn't mastered going down them yet and will just turn around and fall if I'm not there. We can't believe she will be one year old in a little over a week! The year has flown by, and yet we feel as if she has been a part of our family forever. She is just over 18 pounds which puts her in the 8 1/2 percentile for her age for weight. She is 4oth for height. She is so close to walking and has taken a few steps on her own but still prefers to crawl.

Playing outside in the 70 degree weather!

My Parents brought over this great play-set for Katie to use. She loves it. She learned to slide down and she also loves throwing rocks down it. She HATES grass on her feet but I am trying to get her over that. More videos to come!

February Fun!

My new obsession is making cloth grocery totes. Here are a few that I have made this week.

A shirt I made for Katie with her name on it. It took way longer than I thought it would, but I think it came out really cute.

She LOVES spaghetti!!!

More Pictures

Giving Oakley a bath with her washcloth.

Big smiles for Mommy. She is really turning into a ham. She loves to crinkle up her nose at us.

More pictures and Valentine's Day for us. We had cheese fondue, crab legs, and lava cake. It was just a simple night at home but we had a great time. We are hoping for warm weather this week so we can take pictures of Katie at the park. She loves the swings and sliding down the slide with Mommy or Daddy.
