A day in the life

I took pictures all day today and tried to capture a normal day for us. I was amazed at how much time we spent in the kitchen. I did miss going to villa and bedtime. I am going to try and get those this week and update. I sure love my days with this fam God has blessed me with.

 

disclaimer: this day has been edited of whining, fighting, crying, cleaning and nose/bottom wiping. Surprisingly, there was still a lot to post about:)

It was noteworthy that at this time everyone was still asleep. That is so rare. Usually the kids are up by 6 or shortly after.

 

I try and do bible study when I get up in the morning and then slowly these sweet faces start joining me.

 

I love that he loves snuggling.

 

And sleepy baby. He was really tired this morning.

He usually gets a tray full of something easy right away. The child cannot wait for food in the morning.

After morning chores/getting dressed and picking up Grayson is usually ready for a quick morning nap.

 

Katie braiding her own hair. I started it but she really suprises me with how well she can braid and do her own hair.

Time for lunch. We went to villa before lunch too. Oakly faithfully guards Grays chair and is usually generously rewarded.

Wednesday nights are family Survivor nights.

Taylor always puts the kids to bed for the night. I kept watching TV and made a chocolate chip mug cake!

After the kids are in bed, Taylor and I are normally so tired we watch some tv and go to bed. Last night Taylor finished our taxes and we watched Sahara.
